They had applied the payments but then on April 27th the pulled the payments back and put them in limbo. The problem is I had made payments to Freedom early in the month of April for both May and June payments. Freedom chose to sell the loan to 5/3 Bank. In Feb'23 I purchased a home using Freedom Mortgage. I tried to explain the timing of the postings made all the difference On the 3rd call, my case was escalated to a higher level but she was of no help so I gave up. On May 2, they posted the $8k+, however, the monthly auto payment was still applied as if the 10k was received after the draw. Interest should be less due to the 10k decreasing the loan balance. I called in on May 1 informing them that the entire 10k should have applied to principal first thereby changing how the subsequent monthly draw applied. Subsequently on 05/01/23 the monthly auto-withdrawal payment posted, applying to principal, ****************** The issue is the timing of posting of the payments. On 05/01/23, it mistook the payment as my monthly payment and applied to principal, ****************** the remaining $8k+ was subtracted out and not accounted for. Online history shows $10k as received on 04/29/23, then suspended. I had remitted a one time payment of $10k towards principal on 04/28/23.
